The live online activity: Alternatives to Opioids for Managing Chronic Pain is an educational activity approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of Continuing Professional Development options as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. As an accredited provider, CSIM has approved this program for 1 credit hour.
About Dr. Jordi Perez
Jordi Perez, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at McGill University in Montreal. Previously he has practiced pain medicine in his home country, Spain and then in the United Kingdom. He joined the team of pain physicians at the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit in 2012, and directs the Cancer Pain Clinic at the McGill University Health Centre. His areas of expertise include interventional procedures, cancer pain and medicinal cannabinoids for pain management.
