Learn to acquire and interpret ultrasound views relevant to the performance of paracentesis and thoracentesis, including confirmation of ascites, pleural effusion, how to use Doppler to assess for vasculature, and common pitfalls.

Join us for the American College of Physicians Doctor’s Dilemma® competition, a fast-paced game of medical jeopardy – hosted by the ACP Canadian Chapters! Held during the CSIM/ACP Ontario Chapter Annual Meeting, October 16-19, 2024 in Hamilton.
Open to residents enrolled in a Canadian university in an internal medicine program. Members of the winning team will each receive a gift card of $100!
