Learning Objectives

  • Understand complexity and advancement in recent literature on anticoagulation options in CKD for different indications.
  • Review new pharmacologic options to improve renal outcomes.
  • Develop an approach to contrast imaging and procedures in patients with pre-dialysis end stage renal disease.

MOC Accreditation

The live online activity: When the Kidneys Fail: Managing Complex Disease in the Context of Advanced CKD is an educational activity approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of Continuing Professional Development options as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. As an accredited provider, CSIM has approved this program for 1 credit hour.
