Dr. Thomas (Tommy) Brothers is a subspecialty resident in General Internal Medicine at Dalhousie University and has a special interest in addiction medicine. He is also a PhD student in Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London. His clinical and research work focuses on improving health care for people who use criminalized drugs. He co-leads an unofficial, trainee-run hospital inpatient addiction medicine consultation service and helped to organize Halifax’s first safe injection site.
