The primary barrier to expanding point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training in Canada is a lack of expert faculty to provide leadership, instruction, and oversight. To help address this problem, our project aims to develop a novel POCUS rotation for PGY4/5 trainees in General Internal Medicine as a key step towards building local capacity in POCUS at the University of Toronto.
