Physicians have the opportunity for teaching undergraduate and post-graduate education at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). USask is a research-intensive institution with 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, and a strong reputation for innovation and excellence. It is home to two of the largest science projects in the country – the Canadian Light Source synchrotron and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization/International Vaccine. The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training.
