The Canadian Society of Internal Medicine offers different membership and associate opportunities to those wishing to become a part of this exciting society.

Full Membership – $340

Physicians who hold specialty certification in internal medicine by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or certification in internal medicine by le Collège des médecins du Québec.

Multi-year Membership – Save 5-10%!
For extra savings and convenience, sign up for a 3- or 5- year membership and save 5% or 10%! Also, multi-year membership locks you into the current rates. To sign up, email us at info@csim.ca.

Physicians who are enrolled in an internal medicine residency training program accredited by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or le Collège des médecins du Québec. Individuals are eligible to be Resident Associates during training, including fellowship.

Newly Certified Physicians – $170 – Save 50%!

Physicians certified in the past year are eligible for a 50% discount off their first two years of Full Membership dues. CSIM Residents receive this discount automatically upon certification. Newly certified physicians wishing to join the CSIM can contact the CSIM office at info@csim.ca to receive the discount.

Medical Student Associate – Free

Medical students who are enrolled in a Canadian medical school.

Allied Health Professional Associate – $75

Health care professionals working in the field of general internal medicine which may include nurses, technicians, health educators and others.

Physician Associate – $150

Canadian physicians (such as family physicians, hospitalists and others) with an interest in general internal medicine, but not certified in internal medicine

Senior Associate – No cost

Physicians who are:

Retired from active practice, and;
In the CSIM membership category of “Full Member,” and;
In good standing for at least five years with dues paid.

Please contact the CSIM for more information. The categories of Physician Associate and Allied Health Professional Associate are not eligible for Senior Associate status.
