CSIM Annual Meeting 2024

Calling all Canadian Teams! ACP Doctor’s Dilemma®
Join us Friday, October 18th for the American College of Physicians Doctor’s Dilemma® competition, a fast-paced game of medical jeopardy – hosted by the ACP Ontario Chapter!
Open to: Residents enrolled in a Canadian university in an internal medicine program (players do not have to be members of the CSIM or ACP)
(teams to consist of three IM residents (PGY1-3), which may include up to one GIM fellow per team).
Register your team by September 17, 2024 by emailing info@csim.ca and include:
- Name, email and year of residency of each team member (teams of three).
- Medical school being represented.
Members of the winning team will each receive a gift card of $100!
Please note:
- Limit of one team per medical school – first-come, first-served basis.
- Subsequent teams from the same school will be put on a waiting list.
- Expenses to attend the meeting are not included.
- To take part in this Canadian Competition, membership in the CSIM or ACP is not required.
- Those who are only participating in the competition and are not attending conference events, please present yourself at the registration desk (Hamilton Convention Centre, Chedoke Foyer) at 3:30pm on Friday, October 18th.
The ACP Ontario Chapter will offer one *eligible Ontario team the opportunity to compete at the National Doctor’s Dilemma® Competition at the ACP IM Meeting April 3-5, 2025 in New Orleans! A $1,500CAD travel grant is available for each team member.
*The highest scoring/winning Ontario team at the October 18th competition will be selected to compete at the ACP National Competition in New Orleans. All team members competing at National must be ACP Resident/Fellow members of the Ontario Chapter (with dues paid) and must meet the ACP National Doctor’s Dilemma Requirements – click to review.
